* About the Band *
The five members of Mojo Hand have all been heavily
influenced by such music greats as Eric Clapton, The Rolling
Stones, Muddy Waters, and Van Morrison. Tearing up the
standard cover band template, we focus on many of the great
songs that deserve more play time, including some of the best
tunes from rock, blues and R&B.
Mojo Hand came together in late 2006 with the desire to honor
these and other music greats. Most of all, we came together
out of mutual respect for each other’s abilities, opinions and
musicianship. There is a special Mojo chemistry between the
band members that comes across at every show.
The Mojo Hand represents many connotations of the word
“mojo” as applied to the music. The digits on the hand refer to
the five individuals, each of whom brings his special talents and
influence to the arrangements.
With Mojo Hand, high energy co-exists with tunes that have
withstood the test of time. Screaming guitar solos and hard
driving beats meet powerful, soulful vocals at every
performance.
